Aim:

The main aim of our agriculture farmhouse is to bring change in the social,economic development through various agriculture activities.

Objective:

The objective of our farm is to provide oppourtunity for National and International volunteers to learn and contribute skills and knowledge in organic farming. We also produce and supply farm products and quality seeds. The helps in promoting farming on the basis of scientific techiniques. We work to train and transfer knowledge and skills on the scientific techiniques on farming to the local farmers and interested individuals.

Programs:

we conduct farmstay and volunteering programme. Mainly three types of work are conducted by the volunteers. They are :

Light work- This involve cleaning garden, picking grass, carrying water etc.

Intermiediate- This involves a intermediate works like painting,working inf field, cleaning cow,buffalo,goat dung,planting crops etc.

Heavy work- Heavy work involves carrying sack, digging,harvesting etc.   

Our farmstay programme is of 3 to 5 days.

The schedule for the 3 days farmtrip is

1st day:- The farm officer will pick up the volunteers from Airport or other areas of Kathmandu like Thamel, Durbarmarg and they are taken to the farm area through the bus or car. In 1st day we introduce the volunteers the local place. Farming technique and general information of the products.

2nd day:- In second day the volunteers are taken to visit the farm and learn the farming technique and work in farmhouse.

3rd day: In 3rd day volunteers are requested to interact with the local promoters and give their feedback and they are taken back.

The schedule for the 5 days farmtrip is:

1st day:-  Strat from Kathmandu. Activities like visiting farm and getting general information about farm is done.

2nd day:- Working in field, learning the farming technique, interacting with workers.

3rd day:- Visiting the well-known place of that area, teaching in school

4th day:- Fishing in Local River, providing feedback to the local people, sharing the ideas.

5th day:- Returning back to Kathmandu.
